Well, it has been quite a long time since I've written on this blog. A long time indeed! It's Liam's second year of college at Towson University, and I'm a junior in high school. I can't believe I'm almost done with high school! These twelve years spent in school feels like an eternity.
I really can't say how I'm coping with not having French this year. It's been quite difficult. Every night, I try to find at least one new word to expand my vocabulary since I never really focussed on that ever. Next year I'm going to take a French class at Montgomery College, and I'm very very excited for that! I love French so much...I can't bear to lose it, yet I feel it slipping...and that really saddens me. It's hard to keep it up, when you don't really have anything to keep you motivated.
My senior year, next year is going to be sweet...at least I think it will. I'm planning to take Lit the whole year, astronomy first semester, wildlife bio the second, then newspaper first, creative writing second, and Chambers choir, and then I'll be going to Montgomery college to take the French which isn't everyday, so some days, my school day will be done by 11am! :) I can't wait!!!!
I am so glad that this year is coming to an end. It's been so long and so complicated.
We are moving in less than a year to Silver Spring, and that is really difficult for me, because I have lived in my house my whole life (minus the years in China, obviously) and I've got my pink room and my cozy bedroom that is the perfect size for me. I don't want to give that up, but I really don't have a choice. I just hope that the place we move into is okay.
I recently got back from a trip to Ireland and England with my Chambers choir. That was a once in a lifetime experience. I would have never imagined going to Ireland, but it was just absolutely gorgeous! My oh my the view was just magnificent. And London was nice too. The shopping was awesome as it usually seems to be. I bought five mugs, a shamrock necklace, a sheep figurine, two native doll models, a snow globe that had the London Eye, the Big Ben, the Tower of London, and the Double decker red bus on it, a lavendar heating pad, a 3-D tour guide of London's most famous tour sites, a 100% wool sweater, aand purple hat that says Ireland on it. I might have gotten more stuff, but that's all I can think of right now.
Ooooh what a one of a kind life!
